Crisis Café

The Crisis Café is an out of hours friendly and supportive community space open to anyone in mental distress or experiencing a mental health crisis. We offer face to face support and advice from experienced peer mentors, in a relaxed and comfortable environment, as an alternative to A&E.

Our one-to-one sessions offer help and advice in a non-judgmental space, with the aim of supporting people to stay well at home. We combine lived experiences, professional knowledge, and training, to provide a listening ear, and where appropriate offer practical interventions to help identify positive coping strategies. Our team will also signpost and connect you with other local support services where needed.

There is no need for a referral, but certain days do require booking an appointment (see times below).

The Crisis café is open:
Monday 4-late
Tuesday 4-late by appointment only
Wednesday 4-6pm  then 6-late by appointment only
Thursday 4-late by appointment only
Friday 4-late

To book an appointment contact us on our dedicated Crisis Café line 07507649821 to talk to one of our team.

Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase, if you would like hot food whilst attending the Crisis Café please pre-order by 4.30 pm.

Please note that whilst we endeavour to support as many people as possible, we are not open 24/7. If you or someone you care about need urgent help, or it is a life-threatening emergency please call 999 or go to A&E.
